Herbal Chicken Misua

Whenever I go to this coffeeshop called GT in Greentown, I will order this misua with herbal chicken. This stall was formerly in old town Kong Heng but shifted here to this shop eversince they opened business. I remember the taste during those days were very much better. Nowadays the soup is not as tasty as in the past. Maybe father passed over to the son and the taste is not there anymore.... Anyway, I still order, I wonder why....

IRC Again!

Last Saturday before going to church, Andy suggested going to IRC, he has not been there before, not in IPOH... so off we went at around 6.30pm cos church service starts at 8pm... There were not many people when we reached there.. but when we left around 7.45pm, it was almost crowded. I wonder why so many people like to go there, the food is not actually delicious.. then why did I go in the first place? Cos I have the e-card, given to me by a special fren... so since got RM300, might as well make use of it, hor... hahaha...

WHAT IS FREE IS GOOD!

Should I go for a Jillian Michaels diet after all these delicious food? Perhaps I better do, I just cannot resist food!

Church Feast

Another night of feast in church for Methodist Senior Members... there were abundant food, all prepared by a certain group. I did not manage to snap all, there were too many... lol... I love to go for these type of gathering, some were home cooked food and some specially ordered for all to eat.

As usual, after the worshiping and praising our Lord, the next will be the "walloping" time... Thank God for such provisions and giving everyone a good fellowship that night...

AK Nasi Kandar Restaurant

Congratulations to my colleague for being awarded an efficiency certificate....and to celebrate with me, we went to this AK Nasi Kandar restaurant. Both of us were still full during lunch time so we decided to share a plate of briyani rice. For men, it might not be enough but for 2 ladies like me and her, it was more than enough.

AK Nasi Kandar is along the Labrooy Road... it is easily accessible if you go along the Maxwell Road... what I love to drink there is a fresh mango juice, the mango imported from India.. it is very different from what we drink outside...

the wide selection of dishes..

Homeido Cafe/Coffeeshop

We went to IPOH old town for our breakfast, landed up in HomeIdo, funny name, yeah.... Did not plan to go there, but on that particular day, many shops were closed, must be some chinese rites, so Kong and I just slipped into this coffeeshop for our morning meal.

Two foreigners were handling the stall, the boss is a chinese man, he only collects the money after his workers prepared the meal for us. We did not have a nice impression on that, we still prefer the original taste, somehow if the food is just done by any inexperienced staff, the food will taste rather different, right? (well, call us bias....lol...)

this is the banner.. oh..cafe...

the 2 young workers preparing the food..

kong ordered koay teow n meehoon mixed
sort of funny combination..hahhaa..
see the deco? not so nicely done, huh?

the "liews" cold
one has to bite more to get it nicely chewed..

and this was mine..
ordered roasted pork koayteow mee
curry not so creamy, huh?
but less santan is fine with me..actually..
5/10
(well, will not go there for some time...)

Towel Wrap

When I was surfing, I came across this website which displays a wide selection of products that are practical in our everyday life. Not only that, they make perfect gifts for our love ones on special occasions such as birthdays, baby showers, and as Christmas gifts too!

What is interesting is that they come with personalized messages too, either on the towel wrap or a even a personalized duffle bag. Isn't that cute? The towel wrap comes in various colors and you can choose a different color for your own family members, in fact, I love all the colors displayed. I like the terry towel wrap too, it is 100% cotton and can be adjusted too as well. I am sure my daughter will love to have one of this terry towel wrap. And of course, if I buy this personalized duffle bag to go with it, it will be a perfect gift for her. She can take it along when she goes for her swimming classes or even for a short overnight stay.

Light Lunch With Indian delicacies

It has been a long while since I had visited this stall along Maxwell Road, IPOH. This rojak and cendol road side stalls have been there for many years now, they are along the road off Maxwell and they are opened during lunch hours. They still have chairs along the 5 foot way for patrons to have a simple lunch... indian rojak, fried mee, mee rebus and of course, the creamy cendol...

the indian rojak, a mixture of mixed vegetables
and all sorts of home made crackers
definitely different from the chinese style

the creamy cendol..

sorry, my pictures are not so close up, next time will do a better job :)

Keeping In Touch..

Besides blogging, I love to spend my free time chatting and catching with my friends through instant messaging. Though near or far, we can still keep in touch, that is the best thing. Sometimes I chat not with people I know but also with some I do not know at all. They might be called strangers in the beginning but as time goes by, some of them have become my friends as well.

As I was surfing just now, out of curiosity, I clicked on to this bondage chat website. This website has plenty of people coming from all over the world to interact with one another in the bondage chat rooms, regardless of race and age. The membership is 100 % free and besides chatting, you can even view one another using webcam in the live bondage chat. Registering is simple and you can sign in straightaway to chat with anyone who is in the chatroom. But be careful though, do not disclose your personal particulars to anyone if you are a beginner, okay?

Hoi Seng In IPOH Garden

Posted this in my Caring blog and wanted to share this new restaurant over here too. Just recently opened, in fact, less than a week only, the captain told us that they are actually from Pusing, a small town, 18km from Ipoh. This is another one of their branches and it is now located just next to the Ipoh Garden Post Office, just at the roundabout. Easy to find if you enter Ipoh Garden area, opposite the landmarks such as KFC, Maybank, CIMB.....
