We need to talk... you and I... yes, Elin and I... haahhaa....

During lunch hour we need to catch up with each other cos other than that, we do not see each other even though we are from the same building but different floors, unfortunately.

Our meet up is only during lunch and this is the time where we have our friendship/blogging bonding and we talk about anything under the sun. Blog language is the word... lol..
So for lunch, we found this place near to our office... Wan Chai Kok at Labrooy Road...

we had a plate of fried rice for 2

not too bad...

and a plate of vegetables to balance it up...
Came to RM14.00 for our meal..

Greatest Entertainment In Fall

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of TiVo. All opinions are 100% mine.

These days, my friends gave me a nickname, they called me “Multitasker” just because I work on my computer and at the same time, my eyes will be watching the television as well. Can I do both at the same time? Yes, especially there are so many exciting movies on my TV screen! Moreover the latest I came to know while surfing from the Internet is this Fall TVand I think this TiVo premiere suits me real fine cos I am a “TV addict.” I love to catch up with the latest “gossips” and happenings in the Hollywood industry.
From what I know, Tivo premiere is a one remote, one HD interface that brings entertainment and fun with just one dive. Their latest features include recording, searching, exploring and browsing with their visually stunning HD interface that allows movies from TiVo online partners like Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, Blockbusters on Demand and many more channels. Besides this, it also allows us to do streaming web videos just by adding U-Tube and other millions of web movies, all these can be done just by adding to our own existing cable lineup.
For avid movie viewers such as yours truly, the latest movies updates can be seen in our laptops or mobile phones by signing up in their Facebook Fan Page . Wait… another good news I read is that they are now holding a "30 Slides in 30 Days Sweeptakes" competition which will end on the 9/22/2010. Enter to Win and you might stand a chance to take home a new TiVo Slide! Let's not miss this opportunity!

Greentown Coffeeshop

I love going to Greentown coffeeshop, they have a lot of varieties there and one of the stalls I will not miss having is Let's Rock fishballs and noodles. Their "liews" varieties of fish balls are very crispy and fresh, they do the frying there and then and the crunchiness are still there when they are served.

these are the fried ones...

the soup ones...

what is this?

chu toe pepper soup...
(pig's stomach soup)

Our Home Dining Furniture

We often pay attention to sofas and beds when it comes to furnishing our home with furniture. But how many of us actually pay attention to the dining table and the dining chairs?

In the world where eating less and dieting is a culture, we often neglect to choose a good dining table and dining chairs, thinking that it'll only encourage excessive eating. Sad isn't it? We furnish our home with beautiful interior decoration and furniture, but when it comes to the dining hall, the space often looks awkward and sadly bare, all because we thought that by choosing good dining chairs to sit at the dining table, we'd be eating more.

Such thinking ought to be erased from one's mindset, because both dining table and dining chairs should complement the rest of the interior decorations at home. We wouldn't want one spot to look rather dull and out of place won't we? Now, that wouldn't be so nice, and it wouldn't be entertaining either when you're playing hostess at home.

If you're one of those people who did not pay attention in choosing good dining table and dining chairs for your dining hall, now is a good time to invest in some, because dining table and dining chairs can be used not just for the purpose of eating, but they can double as a study area or a board-game area as well.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when choosing dining chairs for your home:

  1. Choose sturdy chairs that's made from fine and durable material. You'd want to make dining chairs a long term investment instead of just a few months use.
  2. Choose dining chairs with neutral colours.
  3. Be sure to choose dining chairs that complement the existing table if you're just purchasing the chairs, and not the entire dining room set.
  4. If you have children at home, make sure you choose chairs that does not have sharp edges to avoid unwanted injuries on your running children or toddlers.
  5. And last but not least, always stick to your budget to avoid over-spending.

Here We Are In Poh San

We went to Poh San again, this time taking Andy for the first time because I know he would love the crispy roasted chicken. When we reached there, it was quite crowded, well, what to expect, it was a Friday evening and a long weekend too. Most Chinese nowadays want to enjoyed being served than to serve... hahahaha... just kidding!!

Anyway, we waited for twenty minutes or so before the dishes came out.. this time I cannot give good comments on the dishes... maybe they were made cooked hastily and the taste was not as good as the other previous visits..

Andy passing time on his handphone..

then steamed talaphia was served..

followed by belacan tapioca leaves..

egg with minced pork

roast chicken

old melon soup...
