HomeCooked Food In Sin Hup Kee Restaurant, IPOH

As my 2 prince-s came back for the weekend and yours truly here didn't want to cook on Saturday, we went to Sin Hup Kee for our meal. It was almost 12.30pm when we reached, I tot it would be very crowded but no... it was not... only a few tables were occupied.. but by the time we ordered our dishes, the tables were almost occupied. Well by then, it was almost lunch time for many....

Sin Hup Kee is more on home cooked simple dishes... prices are reasonable... these were the dishes we ordered...


first came the soup...


Andy loves seaweed soup...


kon cheen kai
their speciality chicken in sauce...


kai lan with salted fish
once awhile eat salted fish ok one..


their steamed eggs
3 in 1 (sam wong tan)


their assam fish curry
a must too..
goes very well with rice...


u will add another plate or 2...


the gentle ambiance of the shop..

The bill came to RM49.20 plus 4 glasses of warm water

    This is really cheap cheap. My 1st time know kailan cook with salted fish..

    yeah, all of the dishes you ordered are their signatures. :)

    realise it's been so long since i've paid them a visit, or tapau from there. probably the intimidating lunch crowd.

    yes, sin hup kee is loe chiew pai.. simple dishes and yet reasonable prices..
