Holiday Season

Holiday season is on the way, for me and my kids, it will be in December so at this time of the year, we should start making plans as to where to go. Now that they are still studying, December is the only month where we have our holiday together as a family. We are still contemplating whether to go to winter resorts or summer resorts near the beaches. While my kids want to enjoy winter, I am quite worried about myself that I cannot endure the freezing cold weather.

If I am given a choice, I would love to head down to the romantic golden sand beaches, somewhere for instance, Hilton Head Island South Carolina. How did I hear about this? Well it is all here in this website, Hilton Head Island, a very relaxing and beautiful beach with world famous golf course. Not only that, Hilton Head Island South Carolina comes with fine dining and fabulous shopping centers. Looking at their beautiful scenery makes me feel excited.... well, I guess this beach resort will have to wait. Let me take my kids for their winter resort first and then perhaps next year, we will make a trip to lovely beaches!

Seafood In Kuala Sepetang Again

We went look for food again in Kuala Sepetang... this time I went with a different group and when we reached there, we asked a local which seafood served the best in KS. He told us the name of the one I used to go.. haiyah.... so no choice, ended up here again.. hahahaa...

Next time, ok, next time I wanna try a different shop lar.. please... no more same shop, this is my 3rd time already or was it the 4th? hahaha....lose count liow...

Travel With Comfort

For the past few years, I have been doing a lot of traveling, mostly on asian tours to places such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Vietnam and Cambodia. These places are all Asian countries, but the culture and the food are very different, especially between China and Vietnam. What I love most is the ancient scenery and of course the shopping! From clothing to souvenirs, they are so inexpensive and beautiful. I would not mind going again, especially to Hong Kong, the food is fantastic. Lately my friend is suggesting that we should go on one of the europe tours, at least for two weeks. It is going to be Autumn in a another month or so, and the best thing is, the foreign exchange is so low now, compared to earlier months. She knows it is my dream to visit Europe one day, especially to Italy, because my son has been there and he told me that I should go. Well, I have no plans yet this year, but definitely next year, I am going somewhere and I will make sure the itinerary covers Italy. Perhaps Rome and the coastal area, or maybe Rome and the Greek Islands.

The tour company at collettevacations.com has some really unique tours that take into account a country's history, culture, and special events. It is a great way to learn about the country you are visiting as they have such knowledgeable tour managers. This would be such a benefit in Rome with its amazing history. This company organizes tours in all 7 continents. A friend of mine was speaking of one of the canada tours that includes national parks tours through the Glacier National Park. The scenery of the mountains, the glaciers, and the waterfalls is supposed to be breathtaking. Well, I guess I better start saving now... :)

Village Restaurant In Rawang

Before we drove up to Genting Highlands, we stopped by at Village Restaurant in Rawang. We stuffed ourselves full full before we drove up because Genting food is very expensive. LOL... just kidding... full or not, we still have to take our dinner up there, right?

Strawberry Moment Desserts Cameron Highlands

Thanks to Motormouth's blog, we managed to find Strawberry Moment Dessert Cafe... We had a wonderful time here savoring some desserts, specially made from strawberries. I heard Ipoh will be opening a branch soon but I worry that with the slightly high price, the business will not be brisk.
In Camerons, it might be able to "survive" because of tourists... in Ipoh, I am not so sure... well, I know of one patron who will visit this when it opens in Ipoh... MY SON... he sure will go again!

Pangkor Meal

We had our barbecue dinner yesterday at the resort. Nothing to shout about, I didn't even snap much pictures in fact. Maybe the food didn't attract me that much.... or perhaps I was not hungry so that might explained the "lack of interest." With so much abundant food, now I know why many like to go for courses. As for me, I hope I will not be chosen anymore.. at least for this year!
