Food in Jelapang side stall facing the main road. It is famous for its rojak initially and then later all these desserts come in as well... I mean all my favourites la... ice kacang, red bean soup.. and the latest is the pancake which I didnt manage to take the picture... Will post it soon... meanwhile enjoy the desserts below...

Famous Hakka Mee in IPOH

My friend, Bel, loves hakka mee very very much...extremely in love with it so much so that each time she comes back to IPOH, she must have a bowl or two .....
On Sunday, after church, I took her to the shop in Hugh Low Street.... heard that the hakka mee shop is the original.... three generations.....grandfather, father and now sons are operating the shop...

actually .. when we were served, it was not like this.

and we started walloping it
till half way, we remembered
and then we took a pic of this...

no more fried liew
when we arrived...all sold out..

next time must go there earlier
for more choices....

Lunch At Shooting Club

Dishes taken in Shooting Club, Jalan Gopeng, IPOH.... A lunch treat by one of my senior staff who received her arrears on allowance... so good of her to give us a free meal... hahahaha...
The food here were in small servings, nevertheless, they were tasty.... they have lunch packages, depends on how many people actually.

Ours were a 5 persons lunch so if I can recall correctly, it was around RM50.00 for this meal..

or perhaps...it was RM60.00.... lol.... not so sure.. but I know the prices in Shooting Club are reasonable...

Curry Noodles and Yam Cake

Hunger for something spicy at certain days of the month... hahaha.. I don't know about you all but the craze of certain food is just like those pregnant ladies at times. Normally I do not fancy hot and spicy curry noodles but the other day, I was eagerly hunting for some..... and I found it in this shop along Jalan Raja Ekram, opposite Excelsior Hotel....

this bowl has a few varieties inside
pig skin, chicken, beancurd, cockles...

followed by this steamed yam dessert...
very nice..
good taste too...
GO TRY IT!

Sushi King In Kinta City Mall

My girl's all time favourite meal.... none other than Sushi King in Kinta City Mall. As for me, I love drinking the hot green tea and the set meal...
