Rawang Saito
When we were in Rawang the other day, we went to eat the infamous Saito Fish Cake plus the yam big mee...(tailok mee) Though the price is quite costly, we tell ourselves, once awhile, ok lar.. not often ma..
Now I know the way already, from the Rawang toll, turn right when you reach the traffic light. Then follow straight up to where there is a winding turn at the right again, go up the slight slope and then straight on till u see the Kentucky Fried Chicken on the left side of the main road. Turn left and the then you will see the coffeeshop, u wouldnt miss it...

I love chang....be it saltish or sweetish... chang is glutinious rice covered with a type of leaves and boiled till it is cooked... In Penang, this chang is something different, must be hokkien style cos it is quite sweet... I love it!!

Chee Cheong Fun In IPOH Town
There are many stalls in IPOH selling chee cheong fun, my favourite is still the Waller Court one. The one below here is in a coffeeshop behind KFC town area. This is not bad too, smaller portion but just enough for me... not so oily and the pork skin is fabulous.... cheap too... just RM2.20 per plate like this.
looks ravishing?

Kampong Bali, Tronoh
Lunch at Kampong Bali reminds me of home cooked food. Those of you who pass by University Petronas or Tronoh, you can stop by at this place for lunch. There is a traffic light 100 metres before reaching UTP if you are coming from IPOH, you turn right and go 2 km straight on before reaching a sign board Kampong Bali on the left hand side. Just follow the road and you can find this corner house. Students like to go there if they miss their mummy's home cooked food...
claypot far nam (pork with salted fish)
